Cooking Tip:
The easiest and most predictable way to cook Japanese A5 Wagyu is to sear vertically-cut strips in a stainless steel or cast iron pan at medium-high heat. Trim a piece of fat from the edges of your steak and use it to pre-grease your pan. Cut the steak into 2 finger width strips and lay your first strip into your hot pan. Sear this piece for 15-20 seconds per side (depending on thickness) for a Medium Rare temperature. Examine your first cooked strip and make any necessary adjustments for personal preference. Season lightly with salt and enjoy!
Pairs well with...
- Younger Burgundy
- High-tannin Cabernet
- Japanese Whisky
- Highball
- Club Soda with a splash of Cranberry Juice

Steak of a lifetime
The Meatery was great to work with. Easy to order, fast shipping, and an unbelievable steak. I got the Japanese Wagyu A5 ribeye and couldn’t recommend it more. Follow their suggestions and cut it in half. I’m a big guy and half was all I could eat, plus now I have another to look forward to!

The Best Steak Ever..
Cooking it was a breeze. The taste is so delicious and darn rich like nothing I could ever describe. Overall, phenomenal!!

Worth the Price
Japanese Wagyu simply melts in your mouth. It is worth the price. We also tried the Australian Wagyu and it is good too. Highly recommended Let us know if you have a good sale.

A-5 Wagu Ribeye.
Amazing buttery steak. Best piece of meat I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this.

Fantastic quality and excellent service!
I bought several cuts of meat, including the Japense Wagyu as a birthday gift for my brother. I started with a few selections, but couldn't help adding more. Nick provided excellent customer service. My brother loved it. Excellent quality. Great pricing. I will be back for more.
