American Wagyu New York Strip Steak with Wasabi-Peanut Butter Crust and Blue Cheese Butter

Well, this might be one of the crazier ChatGPT tests we've tried out. I was so shocked how all of these ingredients blended to create something tasty!


  • 2 American Wagyu New York strip steaks
  • 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons wasabi paste
  • 1/4 cup chopped unsalted peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons blue cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened


  1. Preheat your grill to high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the peanut butter and wasabi paste until well combined.
  3. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the top of the steaks, then press the chopped peanuts into the peanut butter to create a crust.
  4. In another small bowl, mix together the blue cheese and butter until well combined.
  5. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer your steak more well done.
  6. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Spread the blue cheese butter over the top of the steaks before serving.
