too much fat(or marbling) much preferred the Austrailan wagyu rib-eyes which were excellent.
Had a question and nick answered himself If the meat is half as good as the customer service Im gonna buy for a long long time
Thank you brother, means a lot. -Nick
Just was very thin for the price. But I won't recommend it because of that. It is good but not that good so I will not be ordering again.
Hi Mark, Thank you for your feedback. Japanese A5 is thin in nature because the loins are quite wide. Also, it is cut in a traditional Japanese fashion. We'd invite you to look at some of our Australian Ribeyes, or try our "Thick Cut" Kagoshima A5 if you're looking for a thicker bite. Thank you for your feedback and business, and please touch base with us prior to your next order so we can help you find your perfect cut.
Great product from a company with outstanding customer service!
Fantastic rib eye! Buttery, cooked to medium rare in an instant (1 1/2 minute on first side; 1 minute on second side; rest for ten minutes). Not like any other rib eye . Grade and quality were exactly as represented.
Served medium rare on a bed of arugula, spinach and baby lettuce. Cut into 1 inch strips, salt and peppered lightly then seared each side, let meat rest, then slice. Meat of this quality needs nothing more. Great company to buy from.
